Content Usage Guidelines

Creative Assets

All of the creative assets available for use are inside of your Tapfiliate account. Under the “Assets” section, you can find our logo, advertising banners, and a link to a Google document which email templates, text links, and other assets that you may use in your promotional materials, provided that you comply with these Content Usage Guidelines and the Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions found here.

How You May Use Our Content

  • You may share links to any of our content.
  • You may republish any images owned by Investors Club (such as charts, graphs, cartoons, infographics) or videos by copying, linking or embedding them and including them in your content. Before doing so, you must obtain our written approval (because we need to make sure you’re not looking to republish images and content we license but do not own), and you must always comply with our Attribution Policy below.
  • You may quote up to 300 words of any Investors Club text content in your own blog articles, presentations, documents, etc., as long as you obtain our permission first and honor the Attribution Policy below.
  • You may not republish in full any of our text-based content (blogs, PDFs, emails, etc.) on the web.
  • You may not sell, sub-license, white-label or otherwise monetize our images, text-based content, videos, or any of our other intellectual property. You may use our creative assets solely for the promotion of your affiliate links.
  • You cannot publish any of our content as your own. Whenever you share our content, please use the original link and follow the Attribution Policy below.
  • You may not change any creative asset's proportions, colors, or font, or add or remove any elements.

Attribution Policy

  • Always attribute Investors Club as the source of any content you obtain from our website, emails, newsletter, promotional materials, or affiliate hub.
    • When linking to our original content:
  • For references to a blog article, link to the URL of the specific blog article you're referencing.
  • For references to downloadable content offers behind a form, please link to the landing page URL with the form for that individual offer.

Legal Requirements

The details of your legal obligations are outlined in the Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions found here. Please read this document carefully, as it is a binding contract that contains important rules for participating in our affiliate program.

In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are always compliant with any legal, trade and regulatory requirements (including privacy, consumer protection, marketing and advertising, accessibility, and other laws and regulations) which may apply to your activities under the affiliate program.

If you do not know which laws apply to you or how to comply with them, you must contact an attorney and ensure you are legally compliant before promoting our business, products or services online as an affiliate.

Here are a few examples of the legal requirements you must comply with as a condition of participating in our affiliate program (see the Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions for a more extensive list):

  • When using our trademarks, make sure you comply with the trademark usage guidelines below.
  • When sharing your affiliate links (whether on social media, in emails, on websites, blogs, podcasts or anywhere else), always state clearly that you are an affiliate of Investors Club and comply with all applicable FTC rules.
  • If you engage in email marketing, always comply with laws relating to commercial e-mail, such as CAN-SPAM.
  • Always comply with any applicable privacy regulations, such as the GDPR, COPPA, and other state, federal and international regulations that apply to your activities.
  • Never make any claims in your marketing and advertising that you do not know to be true or supported by evidence.

  • Never purchase ads that direct to your site(s) or through an affiliate link that could be considered as competing with Investors Club’s own advertising, including, but not limited to, our branded keywords.
  • Do not participate in cookie stuffing or pop-ups.
  • Do not use false or misleading links; attempt to mask the referring URL information; source leads through compilations of personal data such as phonebooks; or use fake redirects or other tools or automation devices to generate leads (such as bots, lframes, or hidden frames).
  • Do not use our content and intellectual property in connection with any product or service that is not ours;
  • Do not use our content and intellectual property in any manner that is likely to deceive, cause confusion or cause mistakes among customers;
  • Do not use our content and intellectual property in any manner that falsely designates the origin, source or the sponsorship of any products or services, or in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor or approve of any business, product or service that is not ours.

Email Campaigns

All e-mail campaigns containing our affiliate links or references to our business, products and services must be submitted to us for approval before launch.

In order for us to approve the campaign, we must receive the following information:

  • The subject line, sender information, and final text of all e-mails in the campaign;
  • A description of the audience receiving the e-mails;
  • The methods used for collecting email addresses;
  • The URLs for the ads, websites, landing pages used to collect emails;

  • Trademark Usage Guidelines

    If you participate in our affiliate program, some of the rules for how you may use our trademarks can be found in the Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions, available here.

    As a reminder, Investors Club (and all its variations, including “investors club”; “investorsclub”; “investorsclub.com”; “investors.club”; “investors’ club”; “investorclub”; “investor’s club”; and “club investors”), our logos, and other marks that we use are our trademarks (“marks”). The appearance, layout, color scheme, and design of our websites are part of our protected trade dress. These are our intellectual property and you may not use them without our prior written permission.

    If we think that your use of our property is in violation of the Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions or these guidelines, or if we feel that your use isn’t in our best interest, we can revoke your right to use our property at any time.

    For simplicity, here is a list of things you may not do with respect to our marks:

  • Combine any of our marks with your name, your logo or other marks, or any generic terms
  • Incorporate any of our marks into any mark, name or logo of your business or any product or service that you offer
  • Change the colors of our logos
  • Photoshop or otherwise modify our logos
  • Use old or modified versions of our logos
  • Add any words directly around our marks in a way that suggests that the words are connected with or part of our marks
  • Overlap our logos or other marks with other shapes or photos
  • Associate our marks with any vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful material
  • Translate our marks into other languages
  • Use, mention, or reference Investors Club, its marks and/or its products or services in a way that deprecates Investors Club and/or its products or services.
  • Create any social media account, username, handle, group or page whose name, username or title could suggest affiliation with or endorsement by Investors Club
  • Use any trademark, domain name, or logo that is confusingly similar to our marks
  • Use or incorporate our marks and their variations or misspellings, in your website(s), domain name(s), meta tags of web pages comprising your website, or in advertising or searchable keywords where your ad outranks ours
  • Compete with or outbid us for placement on any branded keywords, search terms or any variation of any of our marks in any search engine
  • If you want to use our marks and logos outside the scope of your Affiliate Partnership Terms and Conditions or in a way that implies we endorse, sponsor or approve of your services or products, or in any manner not consistent with these guidelines, you must email us at email to obtain written permission.
